I created this blog eons ago but actually never posted anything. I wanted to post pictures but I still can't understand how load pictures from my sister's digtal camera to the computer. Yes, I have to ask my sister but life gets busy. I never remember to when she's home only when she's left for work. Sigh.

So this is old picture of cupcakes I was commission to make several years ago for a little boy. They are vanilla and chocolate cupcakes covered with a kid friendly (not to mention an adult friendly) vanilla frosting. I don't use icing sugar buttercream as I find it too sweet and sometimes grainy if not blended properly. The fancy Italian buttercreams are bit too elegant for a kid's birthday.

The cupcakes were a hit but the birthday boy got upset because everyone was eating Winnie the Pooh heads. Which might explain why the next year he had a Thomas the Train cake instead.

So ends my first post. Whew! Hopefully, it won't be the last post either.

P.S. The Winnie the Pooh heads were made with Wilton's candy melts.
